Zionism

Einstein was a supporter of Zionism, but he favored a bi-national state rather than a purely Jewish state, and he was critical of certain Zionist practices, especially those involving violence or exclusion. His nuanced position could lead to criticism from both sides of the Israel-Palestine debate.
